The history of Vestey Foods Germany (formally known as Rari Food International GmBH) started in 1896, when Karl Rachow founded his butchery near Rostock. The next generations relocated the company to Hamburg, expanded and focussed on the import of frozen food. They established the registered brand "Laschori", which stands for carefully selected raw foods and fresh processing.

Since 2002, the company has been a member of the Vestey Family. Today a team of more than 40 employees provide a high quality service to wholesalers and catering butchers throughout Germany and Austria with all kinds of beef, pork, lamb, veal, meat, poultry, fish and seafood as well as game or convenience from all over the world
