Vestey Foods Benelux , formerly known as Corimex, was founded by Paul Van den Meutter in 1994 and joined the Vestey Group in 2008. The principal aim was to import chilled and frozen high quality meat from New Zealand and Australia into the Benelux market with further distribution to customers spread over other European countries.

In the intervening years the business has expanded to include imports of:

• chilled grass and grain fed high quality beef from Australia, New Zealand and South America
• frozen beef from New Zealand, South America and Australia
• chilled corn fed high quality beef from North America
• chilled and frozen venison from New Zealand
• chilled and frozen lamb from New Zealand and Australia
• chilled Wagyu beef

Paul and his team have a highly specialised  knowledge of high quality beef, lamb and venison cuts and have established excellent and longstanding relationships with international key suppliers and European based clients .  Their superb processing facilities allow for product to be packed and portioned  consistently to precise specifications both for retail and foodservice customers.
